With this 2010 Hunting season closing the Weaver Family have much to be thankful for. Although this season was tough for a lot of hunters the Weaver family hit the “Grand Slam” this 2010 year.
You’ve already heard of the Weaver girls, both Meg and Maddie who were previously featured in the “Super Success-Girl Style” article written just a couple of weeks ago, but there was a little more of this story that went untold.
Both Maddie and Meg filled buck their Buck tags on youth day 2010, but why 
does this make it a Grandslam for the Weaver family?
Well let us not forget about their Daddy, Pete Weaver. Pete got an absolutely beautiful buck this year himself. The buck had 11 scoring point’s that anyone of us would love to harvest. Way to Go Pete, What a bruiser of a buck! 
OK, that’s 3 for 3 but doesn’t a “Grand Slam” usually contain 4 of something?
Well we forgot to mention that Maddie’s Buck, this buck was her first deer ever, so there is the final leg in the Weaver Grandslam 2010. Super year to Pete Weaver, Meg Weaver and Maddie Weaver on their great 2010 season. We will be looking for you all in the 2011 hunting season. Happy New Year to All!!!
