Sometimes you’re the windshield, sometimes you’re the bug!
Interesting turn of events…
Chris Macmillan has been putting some time, getting in close on this bruiser and today opportunity came calling… a 40 yard shot, a chip shot, in the bag!…Wrong
As Chris squeezed off on this beast, when the gun went off, branches were the only thing hitting the ground and this buck went packing. As Chris was lining up on this buck, he didn’t see the sapling/branch that blended in with the buck and the bullet found the sapling dead center.

Luckily, Chris could not have asked for a more supportive Wife, and I’m proud to announce my twin sister, Shelly Schline Macmillan…In good form, as she lovingly cut his shirt tail off, she told him she was sorry for his misfortune and told him it was his turn to watch the kids as she headed to the field, to the same stand poor Chris had just missed from…
Well, little sis didn’t mess around when the bruiser showed back up for round two! Leave it to my little sis to put the smackdown on a bruiser. Way to Go Shelly.
The call was made and Chris loaded up the fourwheeler with the kids and off to the stand they went to get momma Shelly’s deer.
